Species Details

Grey Field–speedwell is a very rare native annual of cultivated and disturbed ground. Its current distribution is throughout the county except for the upland north-western part of the area (Calver SK27M, Rowsley Sidings SK2664 and Smisby SK3518). Its previous distribution was the same though with a tendency for more records in the south than currently. Although treated as native here, it is not considered so by all authorities for example Preston et al. (2002) consider it introduced.

This plant is in Category 5b of the local Red Data List, 2009.
