Species Details

Common Vetch is a rare casual annual of waysides, field borders and waste places. It occurs rarely throughout our area from Linnet Clough (SJ9788) and Standhills (SK2982) in the north to Rosliston (SK2417) and Ticknall Quarries (SK3623) in the south. It was formerly cultivated for fodder and is probably a plant of cultivated origin.
