Species Details

Hairy Violet is a native perennial of limestone grassland and scrub. It is occasional in the White Peak area, as at Cow Dale (SK0872) and in the Via Gellia (SK2857), and the Magnesian Limestone area as at Whitwell Wood (SK5277). It also occurs on the isolated outcrops of limestone at Crich (SK3455) and Ticknall (SK3623).
