Species Details
This hybrid pansy is a very rare native perennial, known only from Derbyshire and Northumberland, but is probably overlooked elsewhere (Stace 1997). Our only record derives from a single and, as yet, not fully substantiated reference (D. Valentine in Stace 1975). A record from Bradford Dale in 1990 is now known to be erroneous.
