Species Details

Grape-vine is a casual woody climber of waste ground and hedges. There are three recent records, for Park Lane Pub (SK3077), Calow Lane (SK3969) and Long Eaton (SK4934).This native of southern and central Europe can escape from gardens, while discarded fruit or kitchen waste may also provide a source of plants seen in the wild.
