Species Details

Ivy-leaved Bellflower is a low-growing native perennial of open damp peat areas on moors. Its current distribution is entirely confined to the northern half of the Dark Peak, as at Tintwhistle (SK0398 v.c.58), Audenshaw Clough (SE1100 v.c.58), Millbank (SK1889) and Outseats (SK2383). However, there is an undated previous record outside this area, which is for SK38 on the southern outskirts of Sheffield.

This plant is in Category 2 of the local Red Data List, 2009.
