Species Details

Medium-flowered Winter-cress is a very rare established biennial of cultivated and waste ground. All recent records are for the south of the county: Longford (SK2237), Willington (SK2928) and Erewash Canal (SK4837), though there are previous records in Clapham (1969) from further north as well. A specimen from the Willington location is held at Derby Museum. This native of western Europe typically flowers several weeks before B.vulgaris.
