Species Details

Nodding Bur-marigold is a native annual of marshy areas, wet ditches and the sides of lakes, pits, rivers and canals. It is occasional in the central and southern parts of Derbyshire from Heathcote Mere (SK1460) and Miller’s Pond (SK4564) southward through Allestree Park (SK3440), to Marston-on-Dove (SK2328) and Weston-on-Trent (SK4127). Nationally it is a lowland plant that reaches its British altitudinal record of 310m locally at Heathcote (Preston XXet al. 2002).
