Species Details

Chinese Mustard is a very rare casual annual of verges and waste ground. There are only two recent records (Hadfield Tip SK0296 & Chesterfield SK3870), and two previous records Ford Lane Bridge (SK3540) in 1978 and Catholes Tip (SK3268) in 1985. It is introduced as a bird-seed alien or condiment. It is of hybrid origin from southern and eastern Asia.
