Species Details

White Bryony is a native scrambling perennial of hedges and scrub. It is very common in those parts of the county south and east of Derby (e.g. Ticknall SK3524 & Stanton-by-Dale SK4638). It is very rare elsewhere in Derbyshire (Gamesley SK0093 & Back Lane SK3561). It is on the north-western edge of its British distribution in Derbyshire.
