Species Details

Flowering Rush is an emergent perennial of the margins of ponds, canals and rivers. This beautiful native occurs occasionally throughout southern and eastern Derbyshire {Melbourne SK3327; Trent Lock SK4830; Cromford Canal SK3452, Hoodcroft Ponds SK4775}. Being a shy flowerer, it is probably under-recorded.
