Species Details

Opposite-leaved Golden-saxifrage is a native perennial of marshy areas by streams, wet areas in woods and flushes in moorland areas. It occurs frequently throughout our area except that it is absent for much of the White Peak and certain areas of the lowlands. Previously it grew over much the same area though it has certainly been lost from several sites due to drainage.
