Explanation of terms

Species Details

Virgin’s-bower is an established woody climber of waste places. It has only ever been recorded once for our area. This was in 1973 at Rowsley (SK2664) where seedlings were found growing possibly from parents at a nearby nursery. It is a native of the Mediterranean.
