Species Details

Small-leaved Cotoneaster is a recently-established low-growing evergreen shrub. It is grown in gardens and can persist as a relic of cultivation as at Ladybower Dam (SK2085). It can also occur as a very rare garden escape particularly in the White Peak as at Sparklow (SK1265) and Priescliffe Lees (SK1572). It is indigenous to western China and the Himalayas.
