Species Details
Crosswort is a sprawling native perennial of grasslands, waysides, scrub and open woodland, generally on well-drained calcareous soils. It is common in the White Peak, the southern part of the Dark Peak and on the Magnesian Limestone. Elsewhere it is rare, as near Somersal Herbert (SK1235), on the Sett Valley Trail (SK0086) and near Crich (SK3455).
