Species Details

Ragweed is a very rare casual annual of tips and waysides. The sole recent record is from Hadfield (SK0296), but there was a previous record from Bamford (SK2083) in 1974. This native of North America is probably introduced via birdseed and has recently been identified as a species increasing in the UK (Groom,Q in BSBI News no.103).
