Species Details

Larkspur is a very rare casual annual of cornfields and waste ground. There are no recent records and only four in total. The two earlier records for Willington and Repton (SK32) in Clapham (1969) refer to cornfield records. The two more recent records, from Calver (SK2374) and Holymoor (SK3267), refer to garden escapes. It grows naturally in the Mediterranean area.
