Species Details

Gipsywort is a native perennial of marshes, fens, canals, riversides and the margins of ponds. It is occasional in lowland southern and eastern Derbyshire {Renishaw Lake SK4378; Cromford Canal SK3452, Drakelow Power Station SK2220}. Although avoiding the upland areas of the Peak District, it does also occur in the north-west of the county {Arnfield SK0097 v.c.58, Brierley Green SK0282}.
