Species Details

Dwarf Elder is an anciently established perennial of waysides and waste ground. It occurs very rarely from the Upper Derwent area (SK1489) in the north, through Ashford-in-the-Water (SK1969), to West Mammerton (SK2136) and SK45 in the south. It was previously widely cultivated as a medicinal herb.
