Species Details
Heath Groundsel is a rare native annual of open disturbed ground, generally on light-textured non-basic soils. It occurs scattered throughout our area from the Longdendale Trail (SK0598) and Foxstone Wood (SK4277) in the north, through Over Haddon (SK2066), to Drakelow Power Station (SK2220) and near Swainspark (SK2916) in the south. Previously it was more frequent in the southern and eastern parts, as at SK14, SK23 and SK46, all for 1969.
