Species Details

Zigzag Clover is a native perennial of grasslands, waysides, scrub and disturbed ground, generally on heavy soils. It is frequent to occasional in the Natural Areas of the White Peak, Peak Fringe, Coal Measures and Magnesian Limestone. (e.g. Dowey Lumb SK378; Westhouses SK4258, and High Peak Trail SK1958). It is rare and scattered elsewhere, with examples at Melandra Castle (SK0195), Swainspark (SK2916) and Ingleby (SK3527).
