Tall Melilot is a long-established perennial of rough grassland, waysides and disturbed ground, and is native to continental Europe. It is occasional throughout the lowland north-western and eastern parts of Derbyshire. It ranges from Furness Vale (SK0183) and Newhall (SK2721), to Cambro Tip (SK4557) and Williamthorpe (SK4266).
