Species Details
Wall Cotoneaster is a recently-established low-growing shrub. It is much grown in gardens from where it spreads by birds or throwouts to waysides, waste ground, walls, rock outcrops and quarries. It is occasional throughout our area from Doveholes (SK0778), Monsal Dale (SK1871) and Steetley Quarry (SK5478) in the north to Norbury (SK1242) and Ticknall (SK3523) in the south. It is a native of western China.
